We are delighted to have had two young people representing Northfield Academy as Peace ambassadors. At an even on Saturday all ambassadors gave vital input and this was very well received. For some, there were personal battles in relation to speaking at such a large event and participation in the activities which they worked extremely hard to overcome, showing determination and confidence (and sheer grit in response to the Aberdeen weather!). They built some new relationships and interacted with one another so positively. They were an absolute credit to themselves and the schools in which they represented. They pulled the Peace Pledge together in such a short space of time.
