NHS Grampian – For Parents of S3 Pupils

A booster dose of Tetanus, Diphtheria & Polio vaccine along with Meninigitis ACWY is offered to all pupils in S3 in Scotland. Arrangements are in place for your child to be given these vaccines at school on Wednesday 28th April If you wish your child to be vaccinated please contact Caroline Oxley caroline.oxley1@nhs.scot 

Please respond by Thursday 22nd April at the very latest with the following information - Child’s Name, DOB, School and a contact number.  

(If your child has had previous immunisations outwith Scotland please attached a copy of this information).      

It is important that despite the COVID 19 pandemic your child is still vaccinated against Tetanus, Diphtheria & Polio along with Meninigitis ACWY.

Arrangements for Tuesday 23 March 2021

For those pupils who are due to attend Northfield Academy on Tues 23 March (Agreed sessions or keyworker provision) please assemble at the bottom of the school car park at 8:30am. Buses will leave for Aberdeen Grammar School at 8:45am. Pupils will be returned to Northfield Academy around 4pm. Those entitled to Free School Meals will receive these tomorrow.

S4’s due in for ‘re-connect’ sessions please assemble at the bottom of the car park at 1:15pm. Buses will leave at 1:30pm sharp. Pupils will return to Northfield Academy around 4pm. Pupils already in school for sessions should not attend, there will not be space on the bus for extra pupils. As Northfield Academy will be closed to all staff and pupils, practical sessions will not be operating.
