Head teacher’s welcome

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Northfield Academy and our website. Our vision of Nurture, Flourish, Achieve was refreshed in June 2023 and encapsulates our ambition and aspiration for all young people and their families. This is underpinned by our values of Ready, Respectful and Safe.

Opened in 1956, Northfield Academy is a six-year, comprehensive secondary school that services the Northfield area of Aberdeen. We work in close partnership with our six associated school group (ASG) primaries: Bramble Brae, Heathryburn, Holy Family, Manor Park, Muirfield and Westpark. The school enjoys a close link with other secondary schools and North East Scotland College through ABZCampus.

We hope you find the information contained within this website useful. It is designed to provide opportunities to learn about the life and ethos of our school, and give a flavour of how we support young people and prepare them for their future.
